You might have heard of houses made of Hempcrete, well now you can 3D print a house out of hemp plastic! Soon you will be able to order a house made entirely out of 3D printed hemp plastic.
An Australian company, called Mirreco, has started building houses by 3D printing them with hemp plastic. They pre-make the house by constructing hemp polymer panels to construct the walls, floors, and roof. Everything in the house is made out of the hemp plastic material!

The houses only take weeks to construct and will be carbon neutral because the hemp will store massive amounts of CO2 in the walls of the home.
Unlike concrete, which is made out of sand, hemp is a renewable source. Once the panels are printed, the homes can be put together in no time. They take a couple of weeks to assemble as opposed to the months it takes to build a conventional home.
