Federal Government Patent #6630507

Originally filled on 4/21/1998, Patent #6630507 is held by the US Federal Government and claims the use for “Cannabinoids as Antioxidants and Neuroprotectants”. It specifically states CBD as a “non psychoactive cannabinoid” that is useful to “avoid toxicity that is encountered with psychoactive cannabinoids at high doses”.

What does this mean? Not only does the Federal Government admit that CBD doesn’t get you high, but it is useful to protect your brain and cells, but they own the rights to it!
